The purpose of our contest is to provide more users incentive for participating on our ESL forums. Contributions that meet the posting standards illustrated in the contest rules will count towards the posting goals for each target prize.

BESI LLC reserves the right to determine which posts are quality posts that meet the contest rules. BESI LLC decision is final and cannot be reversed. The contest begins on January 25, 2008 and is open to all posters registered before January 25, 2008. The contest will end on August 18, 2008. Winners will be published on August 30, 2008 at 12:01am. Eligibility: Contest is open to all all registered posters located in the following countries, United States, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, France, Russia, Brazil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, China, South Korea, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Senegal, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Finland. You must be 18 years old to be eligible. This contest is not being offered to residents of New York or California.
PRIZE CLIMBING: If you are the first person to reach the posting requirement for a category of prize, you will be notified and asked to make a choice. a. you can choose to accept the prize, with the condition that accepting the prize gives up your right to pursue the higher prizes. or b. you can choose to give up that prize in pursuit of the greater prize with the understanding that in choosing to do so, gives up your right to the lesser prizes making it available to the next person who reaches the posting benchmark. So for example, you reach 250 posts. That qualifies you for the third prize category. You can choose to accept the $50 Gift Certificate, and in doing so you would be giving up on your chance for the first or second prizes. With our gratitude, your contest participation would then be over. - OR - you could give up that prize making it available for the next person to reach 250 posts, you would then be climbing towards the next available prize.
APPROVED POSTS: Are quality posts that do not contain advertising or commercial links.
QUALITY POSTS Are questions, answers, responses stories or experiences that are related to the category and forum to which it was posted which is in proper context and that do not contain vulgar language.
SPAMMING: Are posts made for the purpose of advertising that contain no relevant literary contribution to the forum. Spamming is a violation of the forum agreement and will be removed immediately and may result in registration being revoked and/or your IP address blocked.
